Armenian Bread

Bread was considered shrine in Armenian National cuisine. Considering it themes describing the whole process of making bread always were touched by artists. In ancient times many holidays and rituals were connected to bread making, sowing and agriculture.
In Armenian word “hats” (trnsl. bread) also means as meal. In our Armenian National cuisine we have different kinds of breads with interesting names.
