A most interesting excursion.
I took it for two (for myself and my son). It turned out to be expensive, but endlessly interesting; we were simply overwhelmed with impressions. We rode both at a trot and at a gallop. The horses are obedient, not timid, and confidently prance even along the edge of the gorge. I highly recommend this excursion! This is probably the best thing we had in Armenia!

Go ahead for new impressions, discoveries and experiences!
I took part in the New Year’s tour of sunny Armenia from December 31, 2021 to January 7, 2022. It is difficult to describe all the impressions in a few words, but for those who are traveling to Armenia for the first time (as happened to me), the proposed program is the best option to get to know the country, its antiquities, modern life and, of course, gastronomic discoveries! The program is very rich, but not overloaded, history, culture, nature and active recreation - there is a time and place for everything. At the same time, there remains enough free time for theaters, museums, shopping, and just walking around Yerevan! Therefore, I recommend it to everyone! I express my special gratitude to our charming muse of the entire tour - guide Varsenik for his professional tact, friendliness and ease of presenting information, and to the wonderful driver Ashot for the clarity and coherence of all our road logistics. Each season has its own specifics, this year the winter turned out to be very mild and warm (at least during our stay in Armenia), the only circumstance that made it a little difficult to get to know this or that interesting place was the simultaneous presence of several large tourist groups. This brought some fuss, but you need to understand that on holidays this is the case almost everywhere. However, I note that whenever possible, Varsenik tried to separate our group from others, for which I also express special gratitude!)

Amazing!!!
From December 31 to January 7, 2022, I was in Yerevan (New Year in Armenia 2022). I didn’t regret for a minute that I went. Armenia is a wonderful country. Hospitable, hardworking, friendly people live there. Every day we got acquainted with some sights. Our guide Varsenik and driver Ashot did everything to make us interesting and comfortable. Our dinners should be especially noted: it was very pleasant to feel hospitality in private homes (a master class on making lavash and a wine tasting at Stepanyan’s on January 6). Colorful and atmospheric! Much more interesting than in the city. I wish the company prosperity and well-being, best regards, Lyubov

Very good hotel
We stayed at the hotel during a trip during the New Year holidays. We really liked the hotel, everything was clean, new, very pleasant staff, the room was cleaned every day in our absence, despite the high occupancy of the hotel, slippers were changed daily, which was surprising. The hotel has a buffet breakfast - there is always a main course, various vegetables, fruits, dairy products, sausages and cheeses. It’s always very varied and tasty, no one limits what you take, and maybe they’ll even bring you coffee, even if you didn’t order it. The only negative was the small number of seats in the dining room, when more vacationers arrived, sometimes you had to wait a little to be seated at the table. But this did not spoil the rest. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised, since at a low price we got a very pleasant, comfortable place, perhaps one of the best hotels in all our trips!

New Year's Tour
I'm happy with the trip.
The work of Varsenik and Ashot is excellent.
Varsenik knows how to organize a group of people with different characters and interests well.
Friendly atmosphere.
An additional bonus to the educational program were dinners and tastings with national flavor.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time for the master class (everyone was in a hurry).
I give it 5 stars for safety (wonderful driver), although I have some doubts about driving on snowy mountain roads - as a global issue.

New Year's Armenia
We chose this tour spontaneously, deciding that it was better to conquer Armenia during the New Year holidays than a sofa. Well, the pandemic also forced us to consider neighboring countries, which we, as active travelers, put aside for retirement. We were very pleased with the organization of the trip, the tour program, guide Gor Karapetyan, hotel accommodation and New Year's Eve. Well, about everything in more detail: the flight was delayed, we learned about this not on the airport’s online display, but from a message from the manager of Barev Armenia, who wrote that he knew that the flight was delayed, and that they were waiting for us and monitoring the status of our flight. We arrived, we were greeted with a Barev Armeeia sign and taken to the hotel in a comfortable, spacious Mercedes. On the way, the driver gave us directions to the area. The hotel is very comfortable, the room was small, but cozy, warm and with a view of Ararat. Republic Square is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, the hotel staff are young, friendly girls. We rested a bit and went on a tour of Yerevan. The guide Gor Karapetyan is a very patient, cheerful young man with a sense of humor and encyclopedic knowledge, in love with Armenia. Throughout the tour he looked after us, solved our problems, entertained us on New Year's Eve and told us about Armenia and its attractions
in a way that made us fall in love with Armenia. New Year's Eve was organized very well: the program, menu and drinks were beyond praise. I will remember sterlet cooked in tandoor for a long time. It's divinely delicious! In general, lunches were organized in different restaurants and our tour resembled a gastronomic acquaintance with Armenia: always a variety of national dishes, cooking master classes, everything was very tasty and varied. I really liked the shish kebab in the tandoor. We were very pleased with the tour. Now we are making plans for our next visit to Armenia in the warm season to enjoy fresh fruits, not dried ones, which are also delicious in Armenia. Barev Armenia, see you soon! Please accept our sincere gratitude for your work and wishes for success in the new year!

Armenia in November
To be honest, I went with some concerns; initially I was inclined towards Georgia. I have heard about it for a long time and often, but about Armenia little and rarely. But it turned out to be one of my best trips (and I travel a lot and often). Cheerful company, rich program, amazing food. Guide Gor is a very easy-going, “problem-free” person, truly passionate about his work.
I will talk about Armenia often and a lot. The country is worth visiting.
I would like to note separately: I did not warn in advance about some of my dietary restrictions (I only eat poultry and fish from meat), and a chicken (not ordinary) kebab was specially prepared for me on the spot; I arrived and departed NOT on the dates of the planned tour - a transfer to/from the airport was organized for me free of charge(!)
Thank you. It was good and fun
P.S. I’m a capricious picky person, but in all four parameters (quality, organization, price, safety) I give A’s. You just need to do something about the roads :): sometimes it shook so much that it was impossible to drink coffee on the bus :)

A country where you are loved.
We traveled around Armenia from October 29 to November 2 with Barev Armenia. We would like to express our gratitude to the company for the excellent organization of the tour and for providing us with the most suitable guide - Gora) Very patient, understanding, competent and cheerful. Upon arrival in Moscow, I asked my restless and characterful sixth-graders, what did they like most? After thinking for about 5 minutes, they said that they couldn’t choose. And excursions, and digging with archaeologists, and mountains, and monasteries, and lavash, and gata, and restaurants, and weather, and nature, and Yerevan, and Armenians, and the fact that people in Armenia love Russia. For them, this was their first trip without their parents, and it was a success, leaving them with a wonderful desire to travel. Thank you, Barev Armenia!

ARMENIA - WHERE THE SOUL RESTS
I have already spoken a lot about this country, but I want more. From the very steps of the plane you can see the majestic Ararat. Despite the fact that the mountain is located in Turkey, you can admire it in Armenia. With snow-capped peaks, it seems to greet you at the entrance. Ararat doesn’t always open, but we managed to see it in all its glory, and even the view from the room was exactly on Ararat.
We immediately went for a walk around Yerevan or the pink city, because most of the buildings are made of tuff, which is mined in the country, holds heat well and has many different shades, but mostly pink. We walked along the central streets, visited the stele of the Armenian genocide, which was simply buried in flowers. Two days have already passed since the anniversary, but people came with families to honor the memory of those terrible events. We were in the opera house itself, a nice grandfather, and later it turned out that it was the director of the theater who kindly offered a tour of it and we visited almost all the floors of the theater, on the stage, in the hall, in the elevators for transporting scenery, for me it was an unreasonable favor Over the top, considering how much I love opera, ballet and theater! Afterwards, our guide offered to take part in the rally and we agreed. Everything was so peaceful, safe and calm. The Armenians were so friendly, so joyful, so united. I just watched them in admiration.
The next day we went to one of the most famous monasteries, Tatev, where the longest cable car in the world leads through a huge gorge with waterfalls. The atmosphere there is disarming, such a sacred place with a stunning view and a kind abbot who gave us his blessing. Along the way we were in the village of storks, a bird cave, a winery, and at the Khor Virap lookout, where a picturesque view of Ararat opens and one of the ancient monasteries is located.
The next day we visited rock monasteries, the largest lake in Armenia, Sevan, and the pagan temple of Garni.
But the most memorable thing is, of course, the people. So open, so hospitable, who are always interested in you, always trying to please. A country that captivated me with its attitude, which, almost a year later, does not let me go, in which you feel at home, where you are loved and expected. Armenia is a poor country, there is little luxury and luxury holidays there, but it embraces its people, its soul, it is worth going there just for this. It’s not for nothing that they address each other with the prefix “jan”, which translates as soul. They address people not as a material body, but as a soul. Isn't that great? The only country from which I left with tears in my eyes and which so captivated my heart. A piece of my soul definitely remained there. In Armenia it is inexpensive, tasty and with soul.

Gratitude from our tourists
We have been regular clients of the travel agency "DIK" since 2016.
We had been planning to visit Armenia for a long time, because we had always been interested in its history, architecture, and nature. The tour did not disappoint expectations; we saw with our own eyes many historical monuments, magnificent landscapes, biblical Ararat, and got acquainted with local traditions and national cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by the universal knowledge of the Russian language and was amazed by the hospitality and excellent living conditions of our stay. Special thanks to our guide Gor Karapetyan for his high professionalism, as well as artistry and charm. We recommend that everyone who would like to spend time usefully and broaden their horizons visit this wonderful country.

Great trip
Many thanks to Barev Armenia for the excellent Great Beauty tour (October 2-8, 2021). The tour itself is well planned and allows you to fully get to know Armenia in a comfortable rhythm within a week. We were incredibly lucky with the team - the best guide Gor and the best driver Arkady!! )) Gor is a great storyteller and professional, sincerely in love and proud of his country, managed to make us fall in love with Armenia too! Arkady is simply the master of the roads and the car, a super professional in difficult road and weather conditions.
Even natural disasters in the form of rain, fog and snow could not reduce the excellent impression of the tour!! I will definitely recommend you to all my friends and acquaintances!!

Boarding house in Odzun.
I just left there yesterday. There, together with our entire troupe, the folk theater-studio "Obvodny Lane" from Tbilisi was located. We arrived here for the theater biennial "Lori Fest" in the neighboring city of Alaverdi.
Everything that is described in the advertisement of this boarding house is absolutely true. However, nothing is said about the hospitality of the most friendly hostess and chef Greta. The food is nourishing and incredibly tasty. However, the rest of the staff is very friendly.
By the way, Covid-19 doesn’t dare stick its nasty nose into this wonderful place.

It is considered one of the best restaurants in Sevan, but the shashlik, kebab, and fish shish kebab are terrible, dry and tasteless.
Didn't live up to our expectations.

Real review of the Baghaberd restaurant in Jermuk
We had dinner at this restaurant today, June 24th. We went in early, looked at the menu, and were told that we would arrive at 20:00. The restaurant was empty. We are the only clients. We placed an order - two pork kebabs, vegetables on the grill, dolma and bread. The waiter practically does not understand Russian, so he pointed at the menu. The dolma was delivered quickly, the quality was decent. Then they brought a plate of shish kebab, one for two. That's all. We waited and asked the waitress where our vegetables were. The girl was surprised, ran somewhere and said that they would bring it now. And again everyone disappeared. We had to find the waiter ourselves (playing on the phone) and ask if they would bring us bread. Brought it. We have already given up vegetables, since the kebab has cooled down. They asked for the bill. Now we were surprised. The figure was 1.5 times more than expected. They began to figure it out. It turns out that the waiter included lamb kebab in the order instead of vegetables. They didn’t count the vegetables for us, but they did count the kebab. And they demanded to pay, arguing that we should have understood that there were 2 servings of pork and one serving of lamb on the plate. Plus 10% tip, which we were not going to pay at all for such service. Until the owner apparently arrived, they DEMANDED us to pay the bill.
The owner crossed out the lamb and advised us to go to Abkhazia next time, since Russians are well received there. And we were received wonderfully in Armenia, with the exception of this restaurant. Rudeness and that's it. P.S. The shish kebab was over-salted.

Classical Armenia
It was one of the best holidays of my life! The tour program is interesting, rich, and at the same time comfortable and not at all tiring. I think everything is clear about fantastic nature) every day we were accompanied by breathtaking landscapes. Ideal places to stay: quiet, nice and cozy. Everywhere we were met by hospitable, kind people. Our guide Gor was with us - a professional in his field, the best guide in the whole world! He loves his country and gives us tourists a piece of his love. Gor approaches every person with soul and warmth. He talks very interestingly, accessiblely and incredibly funny. No memorized texts that make you want to sleep. I went to Armenia with some health problems, but thanks to Gor's endless help, I was able to see all the beauty and grandeur of this amazing country! He promptly solved my “personal problems” every day. I would like to thank Gor again and again for everything he did for me. GOR, you are in the right place!!! I fell in love with this wonderful country and will definitely return again, only with Barev and Gore)
