“Miassine” – one word, but contains great meaning therefore representing a whole association. Everything which fosters tourism and culture development in Armenia is welcomed both by the state members and the society.
Though the idea of “Bed & Breakfast” a new one in our country it has a great popularity the whole world around. Generally it is a family-run guest lodging that rents out rooms to travelers with the proprietor living on premises. The tourist as one, who travels here for pleasure and culture, gets acquainted with the village life, kitchen and cultural heritage. Foundation “Miassine” was founded in 2008 with the sole purpose to make the tourism a significant segment in our country. Rather, traveling, visiting, and hosting are necessary to our social life. It overlooked how more and more tourism is concerned with producing social networks, visiting and receiving the hospitality of our people and kin living elsewhere and fulfilling social obligations.  The Foundation has been co-operating with the “Luari” Armenian Cultural House since 2009 and has implemented the “Programme of development of the Solidary Tourism” under the patronage of the District “Rone Alpo” and Ministry of Economics of the RA. Within the framework of the progamme a net group of more than 70 “Bed & Breakfast” was created, three-day trainings and courses were organized. The association already has 20 members with the main goal to make proficiency for mutual cooperation between the private sector and local companies. The foundation will further assist the package elaboration for amendments and legislative purposes, organize French and English courses for foundation members and publish a newspaper about ecological and environmental awareness.
