Medical resort city Jermuk is situated in south-eastern part of the Republic of Armenia. Height above sea level is 2000 to 2080 m.
Plateau on which the medical center city is situated is surrounded by Alpine lush vegetation and wooded mountains of Vardenis and Syunik height of which is 2500-3000 m. Through the city passes river Arpa that divides the city into two parts.
Arpa is well known for its delicious fishes. River Jermuk flows into the river Arpa. There is a buaetiful waterfall (84 m) which is a fantastic sight that make the city more beautiful and attractive.
