Монастырь Муш Сурб Карапет имеет несколько названий: Монастырь Глака или Иннакаанян. Комплекс построили в VI веке селе Тарон, который в настоящее время является находится на территории Турции. До IV века монастырь был языческим храмом. В IV веке после принятия Христианства Арменией стал Христианским монастырем на территории Великой Армении и находился не далеко от Аштишата.
По некоторым данным монастырь основал Григор Лусаворич. После смерти тело Григора Лусаворича было похоронено в часовне Св Карапет. Монастырь Св. Карапета самым большим и главным монастырем в Западной Армении. Здесь был ни один храм или монастырь, а комплекс монастырей. Комплекс стал известным ни только среди местных жителей, но и за пределами Армении.
Комплекс построен из полированных камней серого цвета, на потолке можно были маленькие и многочисленные, которых удерживали колонны средних размеров. На территории было 5 часовен и 10 алтарей. На колокольне было 4 больших колокола, звон колоколов можно было услышать из далека.
В колокольне был стол посвященный Святому Духу, со всех четырех сторон были вытянутые арки, рядом с алтарем находится Хачкар высота которого достигает до 6 метров. Хачкар благодаря удивительным узорам и является одним из уникальных на территории
