Overview

In early March, when the weather in northern countries still echoes winter, boldly head to Armenia to celebrate March 8th and get closer to spring during this beautiful holiday. The March atmosphere of our tour in Armenia is genuinely spring-like—warm, heartfelt, and romantic. It’s an excellent excursion throughout Armenia in March. Being a southern country with warm sunshine and abundant nature, it’s here where the awakening from winter hibernation is best felt. Armenia in March is vibrant, festive, blooming, and fragrant, imparting boundless energy to all its residents and guests. Interestingly, Armenia celebrates the “month of women” from March to April: it’s this month, with its colors, vibrancy, and charm, that is dubbed the women’s month. It’s the perfect occasion to gift your beloved woman—be it your wife, girlfriend, mother, or daughter—a special March celebration right here. Delicious colorful cuisine and sparkling wine, breathtaking natural landscapes, mountains, and canyons, ancient historical monuments, and the sun we’ve missed throughout the winter—all come together to define Armenia in March, an experience to be cherished for a lifetime.

A well thought out tour and the warmest memories!
Tamara Starostina
I would like to say a huge thank you to the Barev Armenia company for a wonderful trip around Armenia during the March holidays 2020! We were very pleased with the well-thought-out and very interesting route, thanks to which we saw almost all of Armenia in all its diversity (without tedious long journeys), and the well-developed logistics (convenient transport, the road took exactly as much time as planned, we were not in a hurry and We weren't late for anything.) I would especially like to mention our guide, the wonderful Varsenik, who not only told us about the history, culture, legends and traditions of Armenia, but also, undoubtedly, became the soul of our group, gently and tactfully creating comfort for each participant. When a person is engaged in something for which his heart truly lies, it is always felt, and when education, well-readness and the ability to tell an interesting story are added to this, that very atmosphere arises that you do not want to leave. Thank you, Varsenik, we will miss you! I would also like to say about the road - despite the fact that a significant part of our journey passed along serpentines, and I am afraid of them, I felt so comfortable and calm driving that I think I will remember for a long time the kind word of our driver Arkady, who did everything, so that no fears distract us from getting to know Armenia. If you want to go on a trip to Armenia, and at the same time you want it to be a ready-made, thoughtful tour, I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend the Barev Armenia company!

March holidays 2020 in Armenia
Irina
I don’t often write reviews about trips, but this time I wanted to say warm words as a sign of gratitude to the tour operator Barev Armenia for the wonderfully organized tour “March Holidays 2020 in Armenia”! Immediately upon arrival, we felt that we were in the presence of incredibly professional and responsible people. Transfer, hotel, bus - everything is at the highest level. Words of admiration and gratitude to our wonderful guide Varsenik Melkumyan! So much interesting and unknown information for us, and, most importantly, with what great love for their country it was told! It was impossible to stump her with any question. A superbly delivered speech and competent Russian language made her like her from the first minute. After her excursions, I wanted to read and learn even more about the rich history of Armenia! I would especially like to thank our driver Arkady Sakanyan! With such a complex travel route, we didn’t even notice any serpentines, traffic jams, or problems on the road. Calm and incredibly responsible driving style for passengers. Thank you Barev Armenia for the gift of 6 days of sun and love! We'll definitely be back! Your piece of great love for Armenia remains in our hearts! If you are in doubt whether to go to Armenia or not, there is only one answer: of course, of course, go! With Barev Armenia you don’t have to be afraid of anything!

Armenia! I'll come back to you again!
Olga Smirnova
I want to share my impressions of my holiday in magical Armenia. I went on the "Spring Armenia" tour from 03/06-03/11/2020 from the travel agency "Silver Ring" in St. Petersburg. Host Barev Armenia Yerevan. Our guide was Varsenik, driver Arkady. Varsenik is a professional in his field. He knows history, is oriented in all matters, loves his country very much, and shares his knowledge with dignity and pride. The attitude towards tourists is the most reverent: all wishes and whims are taken into account, questions and interest in the topic of the story are welcomed. Thanks to Varsenik’s experience, our group became a single, well-coordinated team; we all felt great and were ready to listen to the most interesting history of Armenia. We received answers to the questions asked and did not experience any problems. The driver Arkady did his hard job above all praise: he drove the bus with caution and very delicately. No one ever felt bad or felt any discomfort. Thanks to him for this! And of course, a few words about Armenia itself. Beautiful country, wonderful people. The landscapes are stunning, mountains, gorges, snowy peaks, breathtaking! The cuisine is delicious, the cognac is fabulous. Armenia! I'll come back to you again!

Beautiful, interesting, tasty!
Tatiana
We were on tour from March 7 to 12. I really liked it! Thanks to the driver Arkady - a real ace in driving along mountain serpentines! Guide Varsenik is the ideal guide! A person who not only professionally knows history thoroughly, but also knows how to talk about everything so vividly and interestingly, as if he were talking about his beloved friends and relatives :) And there is something to show and tell about. The country is very beautiful, there are many attractions, the food was very tasty every time, the hotels were comfortable, we were greeted warmly. I had a really good time on the trip - I actually had a rest. And it was not a passive vacation, but when every day is a new discovery! Now we are thinking that when the borders are opened again, it will be possible to see in Armenia what has not yet been seen. Develop new routes! Thank you for the wonderful time you had! P.S. : I would like to get group photos of our group.

What professionalism! With such love for his country and at the same time with respect for all peoples, languages, historical facts, he conducted excursions! Simply smart! Thanks to the driver Ashot Sakanyan. Calm, friendly, responsive! Hotel "Cascade" excellent! Purity! Goodwill! Comfort! Excellent breakfasts! Thanks to everyone who made our vacation unforgettable! March miracle
Olga
This tour allowed us to move from winter to spring not only physically, but also mentally. This tour has everything you need to get acquainted with Armenia for the first time. There are many attractions and museums, cozy hotels, comfortable transport support (thanks to the driver Ashot for his composure, reliability and friendliness), food in national restaurants is beyond praise, this is a whole ritual that made it possible to feel Armenian hospitality. And finally, last but most important, our guide Gor Karapetyan. He not only shared information with us about history and traditions, but also talked about Armenia from personal experience, while managing to amuse us, solve our problems, listen to our wishes and requests. He gave advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat and what to buy. Thank you so much for the human approach to every tourist!

Excellent tour, professional guides
Vladimir
I would like to express my gratitude to the Barev company for its excellent organization, especially Gor Karapetyan, who turned out to be one of the best guides I have seen - attentive, pays attention to everything, his knowledge of all issues is amazing, knows the answer to almost any question on the history of Armenia, sights . It is also worth noting Roland Tmoyan, who coped well with the force majeure situation that occurred during the trip, led two groups and psychologically structured their behavior correctly. The program is quite intense, which is both a plus and a minus, as some places had to be visited 20 minutes before closing. The lunches and dinners are excellent, it’s practically a gastro-tour. Armenia left good, positive emotions. Thank you for the excellent organization of the trip!

They wait and love...
Julia
My heart aches with melancholy, I want to return to Armenia, as if only there they are waiting for you and loving you... You experience such feelings when parting with very close, dear ones. This is exactly the state you find yourself in after being on a perfectly organized tour filled with warmth from Barev Armenia with the wonderful, unique, immensely caring and attentive professional Roland Tmoyan. Neither photo nor words reflect the fullness of the sensations and energy received! You are simply transformed, and spring is in your heart)) Thank you for being you!!!

Весна в Армении
Tatyana Georgievna Dobrosklonskaya
Dear Barev Tour managers, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the excellent organization of the March Armenia tour (March 7-12). Everything was just wonderful: the program, hotels, food, transportation. I would like to convey special gratitude to your wonderful guide Gor Karapetyan, who not only talks fascinatingly about the sights, but also communicates well with people. I hope that I will be able to make other trips with you. Gore said that he leads hiking tours in the mountains, I would like to know more about this, because it is this type of tourism that my son, the same age as Gore, is interested in.

Скучаем по Армении...
Tatyana Shkirta
Hello! I was looking through the photos again today and decided to write. My friend and I were in Armenia from March 4 to March 9, a tour for the March holidays. Of course, 5 days — this is very little, but we drove from north to south throughout the country, saw snow-covered Jermuk and blooming apricots in Yerevan. I still remember the harsh beauty of the mountains, ascetic monasteries and temples and, especially, warm, friendly people. Many thanks to our guide Gor Karapetyan for his interesting stories, desire to show as much as possible, and ability to find a way out of dead-end situations (Sanain or lunch in a restaurant, in the end we managed to do everything). As soon as the phrase sounded: “We read that it’s not far from here.”, he happily announced that we’d stop by and take a look. Many thanks to our driver Ashot, thanks to his skill, mountain passes in the rain and snow did not seem so scary. I would like to say a few words about the Silk Road Hotel. . This is not only a hotel, but also a cultural and educational center where both children and adults learn folk crafts. A charming courtyard overlooking Masis, we greeted him in the morning. Very attentive staff. Many thanks to all the girls. And we flew away in heavy rain, it seems that Armenia was also sorry to part with us. We will definitely come again!
