Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi is the central street of the capital. It is named after the medieval well-known Georgian writerShota Rustaveli. The length of the avenue is about 1.5 km, which stretches from Freedom Square to Rustaveli Square. This is one of the most beautiful streets in the capital, with pine trees planted on both sides. Life here is always active; a number of important events and actions for Georgians took place on this avenue.

The main avenue is occupied by the government, as well as by numerous public, cultural and commercial structures, such as the Georgian Parliament building, the Kashveti Church, the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Georgia, the National Museum of Georgia , Tbilisi Z.
