Крепость Карс (по-турецки: Карс Калеси), бывшая оборонительная структура, расположена в турецком городе Карс. Форт также известен как Ич Хале («Центральная / Внутренняя крепость», «Цитадель»).
Крепость была построен в 1153 году визирем Фирузом Ака по указанию Малика Изедина Салтука II из Салтука. Внешние ворота, окружающие город, были построены в 12 веке.
Крепость была разрушена Ленктемуром в 1386 году и была восстановлена в 1579 году Лалой Мустафой-пашей, который прибыл в Карс по приказу немецкого короля Мурада III. Согласно османским источникам, форт был восстановлен с участием 100 000 солдат и рабочих. В 1606 году крепость была разрушена персидским Аббасом I Сефи.
Форт состоит из двух частей, внешней и внутренней фортов. Наружные стены состоят из пяти слоев. Кроме того, перед наружными стенами есть глубокие траншеи. Основная часть крепости расположена в восточной части. Общий периметр форта составляет 3500 метров (11 500 футов). У форта было 22 башни для сторожевых башен, только 7 из которых сохранились до наших дней.
Есть также военные приюты, склады боеприпасов и небольшая мечеть в районе замка, который был восстановлен в 1990-х годах.
Сегодня замок включен в список Министерства культуры и туризма Турции.
