The resort town of Jermuk is a sought-after and popular place for many guests of Armenia. The city has numerous attractions such as mineral springs, thermal springs, amazing mountain scenery. The city is also considered a ski town. Acable carwas built on the slopes of Mount Lusassar in 2007, which helped the development of ski tourism here.

The length of the road from start to finish reaches 1000m. The highest point is 2480 m. The slopes of Lusassar have sharp turns and descents, so only professionals decide to go down these slopes after many years of training. The mountain has two routes, the length of which is almost the same – 1400 m.

Reaching the top of Lusassar, visitors are greeted by an observation deck  from where a fabulous mountain landscape opens up. There is also a cafe near the observation deck where you can have lunch or drink a cup of hot tea.

In summer the ski lift is not crowded. Just 15 minutes and you can see an amazing natural view. Jermuk forests are alpine vegetation with an area of 1600 hectares.
