As part of this tour, we will not only visit significant places of the ancient state, but throughout the entire journey we will taste unique and rare local wines that are not produced anywhere else.

Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to your hotel in Tbilisi, the colorful and mesmerizing capital of Georgia. After a few hours of rest, we will meet to go on a city tour. We will visit the old city, including the sulfur baths area, walk to Narikala Castle through the narrow streets of the city, get acquainted with the unique architecture of the city and its equally wonderful people. Lunch will be served at a local gourmet restaurant. Before or immediately after lunch we will visit the National History Museum. In the evening we will taste local original wines at the Vino Underground winery. Dinner will take place at the local restaurant “Kopala”, which offers a wonderful view of the old city. We will spend the night in Tbilisi, at the boutique hotel “Old Tiflis”.

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure from Tbilisi to the ancient capital – Mtskheta. Visit to Jvari Monastery and Svetishoveli Cathedral. Stop for lunch at the Bitarishvili family winery in the Kartli region. The tour to Marani (wine cellar) will continue with a tasting of rare Chinuri wine and a delicious lunch prepared by the family. Later we will visit the Chateau Mukhrani winery, founded by Ivan Mukhranbatoni - heir to the royal family of Georgia - the tour of the winery will be accompanied by wine tasting. Next we will continue our journey towards the western region of Georgia – Imereti. On the way we will stop at the workshop of Georgian “qvevri” Zaliko Bojadze. Qvevri are huge vessels that have been used to make and store wine for centuries. We will see how these vessels are made by the hands of real masters. Later we will visit the winery of local winemaker Arshile Guniava, walk through his vineyards and cellar, and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared in Imeretian style. After this, we will go to Kutaisi, where we will stay overnight at the Bagrati 1003 hotel.

After breakfast we will visit the local farmers market in Kutaisi, after which we will visit the beautiful temple of Gelati Academy, dating back to the 12th century. We will discover the mysterious mosaics and frescoes that decorate the walls of the main temple. Next we will go to the Rikoti pass. On the way we will stop by local winemaker Gogita Makaridze. Here, in this colorful and fascinating place, we will taste wine and stop for lunch, after which we will continue our journey to the Meskheti region. On the way we will stop in the city of Borjomi, famous for its healing and thermal waters. In the evening we will reach Akhaltsikhe. We will stay at the hotel for a short rest. In the evening we will visit a local winemaker from Meskheti - Giorgi Natenadze. We will taste various wines from local indigenous varieties and enjoy a delicious dinner with local delicacies. We will stay overnight in Akhaltsikhe, in the small cozy hotel Gino.

After breakfast we will head to the central part of the region. Along the way we will see centuries-old embankments that served for agricultural purposes. Soon we will reach the village of Saro, where we will visit the ancient houses of the Meskhetians. This is where we will have our lunch - in a family restaurant, where we will try, among other things, local dishes such as baked bread with stuffing, fried beans and other delicacies. Visit to the cave town of Vardzia, carved into the rock in the 12th century. In the evening of the same day we will visit the historical site of Chachkari, where we will find ancient wine presses and 300-year-old wine. In the evening we will reach the Vardzia hotel, where we will have time to relax, drink coffee or tea. In the evening we will have dinner at a restaurant and stay overnight at Volodya’s Cottages in Vardzia.

Breakfast at the hotel, after which we will leave towards Tbilisi. Along the way we will be surrounded by landscapes of endless pastures. Soon we will stop at the picturesque Lake Parajani and visit the Poca Monastery, famous for its artisanal cheese and other delicacies. Here we will be served a light lunch prepared by local nuns. After lunch we will head to Tbilisi, check into a hotel, and after a short rest we will have dinner at a local restaurant with Georgian cuisine and local wines. We will spend the night in Tbilisi.

Breakfast in the hotel. A trip to the eastern region of Georgia - Kakheti, which is famous for its incredible landscapes, historical sights and wineries. After we pass the scenic Gombori Mountains, we reach the center of the region. The first place we will go is the Ikalto Monastery, which served as the only wine academy in the Middle Ages. Here we will enjoy wine at the Teleda winery near the city of Telavi. Lunch will be served in the picturesque cafe “Marleta”. After this, we will head to the Alaverdi Monastery, where we will visit the cellar of Lekso Tsikhelishvili, where we will taste wine, after which we will head to the cozy 18th century town of Sighnaghi. After checking in at the hotel, we will walk through the narrow streets of the city and walk to the wine restaurant “Pheasant's Tears”, where we will be served traditional and European cuisine for dinner. During dinner we will also taste wine. We will spend the night in the city of Sighnaghi, at the Solomon 1805 hotel, located in the city center.

After breakfast you will be offered horse riding near Sighnaghi. After which we will go to the National Historical Museum. During the day we will visit 2 local wine cellars - John Okruashvili and Archil Natsvlishvili. Both winemakers make their wine using traditional Georgian methods of fermentation and maturation of wine in qvevri. Lunch will be served at the wonderful place “Sagvareulo Marani”, where we will enjoy delicious shish kebab and Georgian chacha. After relaxing at the hotel and free time, in the evening we will gather for a farewell dinner at the “Tears of Pheasant” wine restaurant, where we will also listen to the polyphonic singing of Georgian vocalists. We will be able to relax for a few hours at the hotel, after which we will leave for the airport from Sighnaghi.
