Overview

Excursion program for those who have already visited Armenia, exploring the main tourist routes but seeking new experiences and the undiscovered. The program is specially designed to avoid repeating the attractions included in the Classic Tour of Armenia, which we offer to first-time visitors.

Despite Armenia’s small size, it boasts incredible diversity in nature and historical-cultural heritage throughout the year. Naturally, one week is not enough to fully grasp its spirit.

However, truth be told, those guests of ours who decide to visit the country again are looking for new information. They simply want to find a reason to return to the warm and friendly atmosphere that surrounds them from the first moments of their stay and accompanies them throughout. This is precisely what we strive for, so that our tourists return as our friends.

One of the main highlights of the tour, which deserves special emphasis, is the focus on the northern regions and even a one-day tour to Tbilisi from Armenia.

Поездка в Армению группы из 4 человек
Michael Karpel
From October 5 to October 12, 2016, we, in a group of 4 people (2 from Moscow and 2 from Israel), traveled around Armenia. We learned about the travel agency from the Internet and immediately appreciated the well-organized Barev Armenia website. The highest rated “Classical Tour to Armenia” was taken as a basis. We asked to make some additions and changes to the itinerary, which were immediately accepted by the travel agent. Instead of a trip to Tatev, Goris, Tsaghkahdzor (we are all 65+), we visited Sardarapat and the north of Armenia - Odzun, Haghpat and Sanahin. The trip to Armenia left an indelible impression, although many of us had already been to this country. It was great summer weather, golden autumn. Stunning monuments to the millennia-old history of the Armenian people against the backdrop of the unique nature of the country. Everything was good, but I would especially like to note what exceeded all our expectations - the Dilijan region, Lori region, Areni with the Cave of Birds, Noravank, Etchmiadzin, the Sardarapat complex and the stunning museums of Yerevan: Historical, Matenadaran, Armenian Genocide and Parajanov Museum. About the organization of the trip - it is above all praise. Transport: a new minivan with 6 seats with an amazing professional Mihran, who flawlessly coped with, to put it mildly, difficult roads (serpentines, traffic jams in Yerevan, bad surface in some places). Food: selection of restaurants for 10 points - fresh food, varied cuisine. Separately, it is necessary to say about the rural restaurants in Garni, Areni, Haghpat and Sevan - simply wonderful. Hotels: good in accordance with their class, clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. I would especially like to mention the guest house "Casanova" in Dilijan. Excursions: excellent organization! Everything makes a strong impression. I was especially shocked by the level of museum collections and tour guides. I would like to especially note the highest level of guides at the History Museum of Armenia and the Genocide Museum. And finally, and most importantly, Ruben, our guide. Professional, erudite (scientific archaeologist), excellent organizer. A man who knows his business very well. Overall, Ruben and Mihran made our trip unforgettable. Thanks to them and Barev Armenia.
