Go ahead for new impressions, discoveries and experiences!
Alexey Alipichev
I took part in the New Year’s tour of sunny Armenia from December 31, 2021 to January 7, 2022. It is difficult to describe all the impressions in a few words, but for those who are traveling to Armenia for the first time (as happened to me), the proposed program is the best option to get to know the country, its antiquities, modern life and, of course, gastronomic discoveries! The program is very rich, but not overloaded, history, culture, nature and active recreation - there is a time and place for everything. At the same time, there remains enough free time for theaters, museums, shopping, and just walking around Yerevan! Therefore, I recommend it to everyone! I express my special gratitude to our charming muse of the entire tour - guide Varsenik for his professional tact, friendliness and ease of presenting information, and to the wonderful driver Ashot for the clarity and coherence of all our road logistics. Each season has its own specifics, this year the winter turned out to be very mild and warm (at least during our stay in Armenia), the only circumstance that made it a little difficult to get to know this or that interesting place was the simultaneous presence of several large tourist groups. This brought some fuss, but you need to understand that on holidays this is the case almost everywhere. However, I note that whenever possible, Varsenik tried to separate our group from others, for which I also express special gratitude!)

Amazing!!!
Lyubov
From December 31 to January 7, 2022, I was in Yerevan (New Year in Armenia 2022). I didn’t regret for a minute that I went. Armenia is a wonderful country. Hospitable, hardworking, friendly people live there. Every day we got acquainted with some sights. Our guide Varsenik and driver Ashot did everything to make us interesting and comfortable. Our dinners should be especially noted: it was very pleasant to feel hospitality in private homes (a master class on making lavash and a wine tasting at Stepanyan’s on January 6). Colorful and atmospheric! Much more interesting than in the city. I wish the company prosperity and well-being, best regards, Lyubov

I'm happy with the trip. The work of Varsenik and Ashot is excellent. Varsenik knows how to organize a group of people with different characters and interests well. Friendly atmosphere. An additional bonus to the educational program were dinners and tastings with national flavor. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time for the master class (everyone was in a hurry). I give it 5 stars for safety (wonderful driver), although I have some doubts about driving on snowy mountain roads - as a global issue.

New Year's Armenia
Polyakova Svetlana
We chose this tour spontaneously, deciding that it was better to conquer Armenia during the New Year holidays than a sofa. Well, the pandemic also forced us to consider neighboring countries, which we, as active travelers, put aside for retirement. We were very pleased with the organization of the trip, the tour program, guide Gor Karapetyan, hotel accommodation and New Year's Eve. Well, about everything in more detail: the flight was delayed, we learned about this not on the airport’s online display, but from a message from the manager of Barev Armenia, who wrote that he knew that the flight was delayed, and that they were waiting for us and monitoring the status of our flight. We arrived, we were greeted with a Barev Armeeia sign and taken to the hotel in a comfortable, spacious Mercedes. On the way, the driver gave us directions to the area. The hotel is very comfortable, the room was small, but cozy, warm and with a view of Ararat. Republic Square is a 10-minute walk away. The breakfasts are delicious and varied, the hotel staff are young, friendly girls. We rested a bit and went on a tour of Yerevan. The guide Gor Karapetyan is a very patient, cheerful young man with a sense of humor and encyclopedic knowledge, in love with Armenia. Throughout the tour he looked after us, solved our problems, entertained us on New Year's Eve and told us about Armenia and its attractions in a way that made us fall in love with Armenia. New Year's Eve was organized very well: the program, menu and drinks were beyond praise. I will remember sterlet cooked in tandoor for a long time. It's divinely delicious! In general, lunches were organized in different restaurants and our tour resembled a gastronomic acquaintance with Armenia: always a variety of national dishes, cooking master classes, everything was very tasty and varied. I really liked the shish kebab in the tandoor. We were very pleased with the tour. Now we are making plans for our next visit to Armenia in the warm season to enjoy fresh fruits, not dried ones, which are also delicious in Armenia. Barev Armenia, see you soon! Please accept our sincere gratitude for your work and wishes for success in the new year!

Barev Dzes, dear Barev Armenia tour operator! From December 31, 2019 to January 7, 2020, I was lucky enough to visit Armenia with the “New Year in Armenia 2020” tour from the Silver Ring travel company (St. Petersburg). I have long planned to get acquainted with Armenia. And my expectations and ideas about the country, its hospitable people, and ancient culture and history were confirmed. This became possible thanks to Barev Armenia, in the person of our guide Ruben Hovsepyan - an interesting storyteller as a scientist and a person from among ordinary people, a great patriot of his Motherland! Every day, in accordance with the stated program, new places awaited us, where Ruben told us about history, architecture, religion, and culture. And always intelligibly, interestingly, with humor. A special memory is the amazing Armenian cuisine and, of course, welcoming the New Year! In addition, thank you for the punctual organization of the transfer upon meeting and departure from Yerevan. Thank you very much for everything! I love and respect you, my new Armenian friends! Elena Ryabukhina, St. Petersburg.

Getting to know Armenia
Olga and Igor
This is our first time in Armenia. I really enjoyed my vacation. I was captivated by the austere beauty of Armenia and the grandeur of its monuments. Thanks to guide Garnik, who spoke with love about his country. Special thanks to the virtuoso driver Mikhran.

Hello, dear friends, we would like to thank the company "Barev Armenia" for the worthy organization of the New Year's tour of your wonderful country. Everything was organized at a high level, including airport-hotel-airport transfers. 1) Hotel "Cascade" - right in the center – hence a huge advantage: all attractions are within walking distance. Many thanks to the attentive and sincere administrators of the hotel, special thanks to the restaurant chef Natalya for the delicious breakfasts: she pampered us with homemade jam and desserts. We've been to a lot of places and have never stayed in a hotel below 4* - so we were pleasantly surprised. 2) The excursions are very interesting and educational: history, customs, cuisine, wines, traditions, music. We tried to dance Armenian dances, we even learned and sang your most beautiful love song in chorus. This is thanks to the guide Gore. Special thanks to him and the driver Ashot. His breadth of knowledge and enormous respectful love for his country are simply amazing. If possible, please convey our deep gratitude to Gore. 3) Thank you for the excellent organization of meals in beautiful decent restaurants during the excursions, for introducing us to Armenian cuisine - everything was very tasty. The same goes for wines - we were introduced to Armenian wines for the first time. As a result, we are so impressed by our trip to Armenia that we are happy to recommend visiting your country to friends and acquaintances. Dear employees of the Barev Armenia company, we congratulate you on Happy Easter. We wish you health, prosperity, peaceful skies above your head and further prosperity to the amazing country of Armenia and your company. With respect, our family: Kuzmichev S. Vologzhanina I. Vologzhanin M. Ponyukhina V. We have no doubt that all members of our friendly group (Gore will confirm) will join in the congratulations.

Unforgettably!
Tatiana
This tour had several elements that made it perfect: - wonderfully cheerful group (thanks to fellow travelers for the excellent company); -comfortable transport and our excellent driver Ashot, with whom you feel calm and safe, as if behind a stone wall, on any mountain roads; -a cozy hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts; - a superbly compiled and implemented program that allows you to get to know the country from a variety of sides: history, architecture, nature, music, cuisine (dinners from which happy and well-fed people rolled out like koloboks are a separate story :)) ) And even the weather was favorable to us - Yerevan greeted us with unprecedented warmth and sunshine for winter. And we were lucky enough to admire Ararat for several days in a row (they say it is not always shown to guests, we were lucky!) But the most important thing is our wonderful, unforgettable, magnificent guide, traveling with whom it is impossible not to fall in love with Armenia once and for all. Gore, thank you so much for leaving me with tears in my eyes and a firm intention to return! The only major regret was that the Matenadaran was closed on holidays, but isn’t this a reason to come again?:)

Замечательное новогоднее путешествие
Alexander
At the end of 2016, my friends and I contacted the Barev Armenia company and booked the “New Year in Armenia” tour. And thus, from December 30, 2016 to January 7, 2017, we, in a group of 6 people (4 from Kursk and 2 from Moscow), traveled around Armenia. We learned about the travel agency from the Internet. I liked the site and a lot of positive reviews. The tour is very eventful, interesting and thoughtful; it’s impossible to do more during the New Year’s week. Everything was very clearly organized - from meeting at the airport to transfer to the airport (Mercedes minibus - a comfortable car, silent, clean, almost new). I especially want to thank our guide Irina and driver Arayik. Irina is a beautiful and pleasant girl and simply a wonderful person, the best, undoubtedly the best guide I have ever met. She easily answered all the questions of our curious group. I am simply amazed by her erudition. Fascinating stories about the history of Armenia, architecture, Armenian cuisine and much more. During the trip, in addition to historical stories and legends, she completely supported our good mood. A huge request to the company management to encourage Irina for her excellent work! Although I can’t call it work, since Irina gave us a piece of her soul and during our journey we sincerely became friends. We saw, heard, and tried a lot of interesting things on this trip thanks to our guide, you can’t list them all. Now a few words about the wonderful driver and excellent conversationalist Araik. Arayik jan, thank you very much! With you behind the wheel, we felt completely safe on the winding roads of Armenia. Arayik's experience as a driver allowed us to see the mountains and serpentines, the streets of cities and villages, the amazing beauty that surrounded us everywhere in Armenia. Arayik's subtle humor and good mood helped us on our journey. Arayik also deserves encouragement from management! And I must say that the wonderful atmosphere while traveling by car was complemented by the music of Armenian musicians of various times and styles. Lunch was included in the excursion program every day. I must say that lunch in Armenia is something special. The dishes were never repeated, everything was very tasty. Selection of restaurants for lunch worth 100 points - fresh products, interesting and varied cuisine. Separately, it is necessary to say about the rural restaurants in Areni and Sevan - just a miracle. Oh yes, I almost forgot, the program also included New Year's dinner. In the most interesting establishment Kami Music Club. An amazing evening with live music. There are no words. And thanks to the Barev Armenia company for the additional free wine on our New Year's table!!! During our trip we visited different regions of Armenia. The nature is amazing, views of unreal beauty, museums... we will remember all this forever. I won’t describe the sights, because I won’t be able to do it as beautifully as Irina said, but you’d better come and enjoy it yourself. Personally, our group really wants to come again and again and again!!! Many thanks to the Barev Armenia company and personally to our friends Irina and Araik!!!! P.S. The group that traveled parallel to us had Gor Karapetyan as a guide. So, he is also a wonderful guy and a super guide!!!! Gor, a huge greeting to you from our group! ;)

Новогодние праздники в Армении
Lydia Podolskaya
I hasten to inform you that I had a wonderful holiday in Armenia. Planes arrived and departed on time. Everything was organized at a high level. We were met and taken to the airport. The program was very varied and eventful. They showed the whole country. We climbed mountains, descended into caves, were near Mount Ararat and near Lake Sevan. We visited an international ski resort. We celebrated the New Year well and cheerfully in a chic restaurant. They made a national salt shaker from clay. And on the last night of Christmas we were at a jazz club. We had a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, caring and attentive. The group was active. There were no latecomers. My fears regarding the settlement were not justified. I lived with a wonderful woman from St. Petersburg. In the evenings, she and I chatted over tea until 12 o’clock. So I'm very pleased with my vacation. Thank you for organizing it.
