Shamshadin Honey and Berry Festival is organized every year on August 18, the first time the festival was organized in2011. The purpose of the festival is to present the richness of the area, to emphasize its significance as a center for the production of honey and berries. More than 3000 people participate in this event.

Spiritual Revival Foundation of Tavush Region and Berd Municipality. The purpose of the festival is to promote the economic development of the region by promoting local products, positioning with certain production components, developing business contacts, creating a favorable tourist environment.

Visitors can taste delicious honey, berries and traditional cuisine of the region, get to know the craft culture, enjoy traditional song and dance. The “Honey and Berries Festival” is the largest event in the region, and participation in the festival is a unique way to support the residents of the border region.

The city of Berd, together with 16 surrounding villages, is the northeastern gate of Armenia and borders Azerbaijan for 185 km.
Within the framework of the festival, charity concerts of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia and the Narekat Orchestra are held.
