New Year is one of the most favorite celebrations in Armenia. We celebrate it on the 31st of December. Armenians prepare for it a month before. These days everyone hurries to make purchases to manage to cook Armenian traditional dishes. When the chimes sound, people greet and congratulate each other. The elder in the family raises the glass, bless everyone and wishes peace in the world, luck in all deals, health, and eternal happiness.
We believe, that the year will last the way we celebrate New Year. During this holiday people visit each other, present gifts. Children look forward to the feast with special eagerness. A week before they write to Santa Clause with request to send them this or that toy. You can spend your New Year feast in one of the hotels and cottages in Tsaghkadzor.
