Reviews of tourists about tours in Armenia

To enhance the quality of our services and curate outstanding tour packages, we continuously encourage our guests to share their feedback on their experiences with us. Your insights are invaluable to us, as they assist future travelers in making informed decisions.

It’s worth noting that tourist reviews typically encompass two key aspects: an evaluation of our agency’s performance and a comprehensive review of Armenia as a destination. Therefore, when planning your trip to Yerevan based on these reviews, consider not only what to see but also who to entrust your journey with. Our corporate clients often express their appreciation through reviews and thank-you letters, which we proudly showcase either alongside specific project descriptions or upon request.

Классический тур в Армению от туроператора Барев Армения
Great trip to Armenia
2018 May / Author: Elena and Irina
Good afternoon. First, I want to say thank you to the tour manager: he answered all my “259 questions” that I asked, trying to learn more about the tour. Selecting a trip. When choosing a trip, we were guided by the fact that my sister and I had only one valid international passport, and we had already traveled a lot around Russia. One of my friends advised me to go to Armenia. We found the tour operator “Barev Armenia” and read the reviews. Well, we decided to go to Armenia with this tour operator. Now about the trip itself. Trip “Classical Tour to Armenia” from April 10 to 16. When choosing a trip, we were a little apprehensive: • after all, another country that we have never been to; • for the last few years I have only traveled on individual tours (for two people) and traveling with a group, albeit small, but for 6 whole days, raised certain concerns. I’ll say right away that none of my fears came true, except for the weather: sometimes I had to use a lot of warm clothes. But it was in the mountains. What kind of complaints can there be??? I won’t talk about the tour itself and the places: everything is in the Classic Tour program. One thing is for sure - it was very interesting and there were many beautiful places. I'll tell you a little about the people, the attitude, the service. Thanks to the driver who carried out our transfer from the airport and then back: he met us at the airport and took us to the hotel, and then back. Everything was clear, on time, there were no unnecessary worries on our part. The hotel in Yerevan “Cascade” is located near the Cascade itself, in fact, in the very center of Yerevan. We liked the hotel. Hotels in other cities were also good. Everything was fine during the excursion program. The group turned out to be very good, the guide and driver are wonderful people, professionals who love their job. Gore is an excellent guide and Arkady is a driver, thanks to whom we enjoyed a calm road. The car we used for the main tour was a Mercedes Sprinter. On the road, every day there were 1-2 bottles of water of 0.5 liters per person. Water “met” us in the car every day. The tour, indeed, is designed so that those coming to Armenia for the first time can get to know it as widely as possible: the sights, traditions, cuisine and, of course, the people! In principle, at any point on our trip, to a greater or lesser extent, we could easily communicate in Russian, which is very convenient. Armenians are very hospitable. We women had no difficulties lifting heavy suitcases: the Armenian men who were nearby always helped. Many thanks to our guide - Gor Karapetyan. This is a man who helped me get acquainted with a beautiful country. He showed miracles of attentiveness to us and a very warm attitude. He told me a lot, a lot of interesting things, and his advice on choosing a photographic angle, as well as filming ourselves on our fucking phones, deserve special attention. In addition, he did not leave us without his support even after the end of the tour: we stayed for another 3 days of independent walks in Yerevan. However, this whole trip, and all those who organized and conducted it (we definitely take into account the drivers!) deserve special gratitude. To illustrate, I would like to give a few examples: 1). In our group there was a woman who during the trip turned... 74 years old!!! Thanks to Gore, as well as the staff of the restaurant where we dined in Sevan, it turned out to be a very warm and simply wonderful holiday for her and for us. 2). When we decided to take a walk on the street in Goris in the evening, Gore immediately tracked our exit with my sister and made sure that we “didn’t go into the night.” )) 3). I decided to “get acquainted” with the land of Armenia, as they say, directly: out of the blue, I fell and injured my leg. Thanks to the drivers of both our groups: Arkady and Aro - for the help and attention they provided me: they did not allow me to silently “limp” to the table, but first took me to the car to seal this wound.  Our two groups traveled independently. And the guides (Gore and Roland) communicated with each other so that we would not interfere with each other at the excursion sites in the monasteries. Where our groups intersected, we came under both the supervision of our guide and the supervision and care of the guide of the second group, Roland. Thank you very much to him too. Special thanks to Roland for organizing a tour of the Historical Museum for our small group of 3 people, who for various reasons got separated from the rest. He talked about what was most interesting to us and answered many questions. And importantly, when that amazing woman who celebrated her 74th birthday on our trip became ill, Roland immediately left our small group to help her. The remaining three days after the excursion program, we walked the streets of Yerevan on our own, also using the information and advice Gore gave us during the excursion. What's the end result? We really liked Armenia. And if there is an opportunity, we will come here again, and best of all, with Barev Armenia. Best regards, Elena and I

Two days since we returned from a trip to Armenia for the May holidays! Although everyone dissuaded us from going to Armenia these days, because of the “Velvet Revolution,” we decided, and we didn’t regret it for a minute! The tour was so well thought out and wonderfully organized that the events taking place in Yerevan only added a special flavor to our trip; we became unwitting participants in historical events in Armenia. Peaceful demonstrations, dancing and singing, this is what we saw on the streets of Yerevan! Many thanks to our wonderful guide Gor and driver Ashot for a wonderful, unforgettable vacation in Armenia!

Hello, dear friends, we would like to thank the company "Barev Armenia" for the worthy organization of the New Year's tour of your wonderful country. Everything was organized at a high level, including airport-hotel-airport transfers. 1) Hotel "Cascade" - right in the center – hence a huge advantage: all attractions are within walking distance. Many thanks to the attentive and sincere administrators of the hotel, special thanks to the restaurant chef Natalya for the delicious breakfasts: she pampered us with homemade jam and desserts. We've been to a lot of places and have never stayed in a hotel below 4* - so we were pleasantly surprised. 2) The excursions are very interesting and educational: history, customs, cuisine, wines, traditions, music. We tried to dance Armenian dances, we even learned and sang your most beautiful love song in chorus. This is thanks to the guide Gore. Special thanks to him and the driver Ashot. His breadth of knowledge and enormous respectful love for his country are simply amazing. If possible, please convey our deep gratitude to Gore. 3) Thank you for the excellent organization of meals in beautiful decent restaurants during the excursions, for introducing us to Armenian cuisine - everything was very tasty. The same goes for wines - we were introduced to Armenian wines for the first time. As a result, we are so impressed by our trip to Armenia that we are happy to recommend visiting your country to friends and acquaintances. Dear employees of the Barev Armenia company, we congratulate you on Happy Easter. We wish you health, prosperity, peaceful skies above your head and further prosperity to the amazing country of Armenia and your company. With respect, our family: Kuzmichev S. Vologzhanina I. Vologzhanin M. Ponyukhina V. We have no doubt that all members of our friendly group (Gore will confirm) will join in the congratulations.

This tour allowed us to move from winter to spring not only physically, but also mentally. This tour has everything you need to get acquainted with Armenia for the first time. There are many attractions and museums, cozy hotels, comfortable transport support (thanks to the driver Ashot for his composure, reliability and friendliness), food in national restaurants is beyond praise, this is a whole ritual that made it possible to feel Armenian hospitality. And finally, last but most important, our guide Gor Karapetyan. He not only shared information with us about history and traditions, but also talked about Armenia from personal experience, while managing to amuse us, solve our problems, listen to our wishes and requests. He gave advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat and what to buy. Thank you so much for the human approach to every tourist!
Excellent tour, professional guides

I would like to express my gratitude to the Barev company for its excellent organization, especially Gor Karapetyan, who turned out to be one of the best guides I have seen - attentive, pays attention to everything, his knowledge of all issues is amazing, knows the answer to almost any question on the history of Armenia, sights . It is also worth noting Roland Tmoyan, who coped well with the force majeure situation that occurred during the trip, led two groups and psychologically structured their behavior correctly. The program is quite intense, which is both a plus and a minus, as some places had to be visited 20 minutes before closing. The lunches and dinners are excellent, it’s practically a gastro-tour. Armenia left good, positive emotions. Thank you for the excellent organization of the trip!

My heart aches with melancholy, I want to return to Armenia, as if only there they are waiting for you and loving you... You experience such feelings when parting with very close, dear ones. This is exactly the state you find yourself in after being on a perfectly organized tour filled with warmth from Barev Armenia with the wonderful, unique, immensely caring and attentive professional Roland Tmoyan. Neither photo nor words reflect the fullness of the sensations and energy received! You are simply transformed, and spring is in your heart)) Thank you for being you!!!

We visited this magnificent country in January 18. I would like to note the excellent work of employee Eniza, guide Yasha and driver Taran, Low bow to them!!! The holiday was wonderful. The weather did not disappoint, it was sunny all 4 days. Excellent food throughout the entire tour, we everyone has gained significant weight. This is Armenian hospitality!
Unforgettably!

This tour had several elements that made it perfect: - wonderfully cheerful group (thanks to fellow travelers for the excellent company); -comfortable transport and our excellent driver Ashot, with whom you feel calm and safe, as if behind a stone wall, on any mountain roads; -a cozy hotel with an excellent location, friendly staff and delicious breakfasts; - a superbly compiled and implemented program that allows you to get to know the country from a variety of sides: history, architecture, nature, music, cuisine (dinners from which happy and well-fed people rolled out like koloboks are a separate story :)) ) And even the weather was favorable to us - Yerevan greeted us with unprecedented warmth and sunshine for winter. And we were lucky enough to admire Ararat for several days in a row (they say it is not always shown to guests, we were lucky!) But the most important thing is our wonderful, unforgettable, magnificent guide, traveling with whom it is impossible not to fall in love with Armenia once and for all. Gore, thank you so much for leaving me with tears in my eyes and a firm intention to return! The only major regret was that the Matenadaran was closed on holidays, but isn’t this a reason to come again?:)
