Hotel Tufenkian Historical Yerevanis completely new in the Tufenkian hotel chain. In September 2012, the doors of the Tufenkian Hotel opened to guests of the capital. The new hotel in Yerevan Tufenkian is located a few steps from the heart of the capital – Republic Square at the intersection of Hanrapetutyan and Buzand streets. Next to the Historic Yerevan Hotel is the famous and colorful Vernissage of Yerevan (folk art fair). The hotel offers its guests 82 rooms, a lounge bar, a conference room, and the “Harpert” restaurant, where the traditions of Armenian culinary excellence are presented.

The architectural design of the Tufenkian Historical Yerevan Hotel is in tune with the architecture of Yerevan of the 19th and 20th centuries. A team of first-class specialists worked on the creation of the hotel, including the world-famous architect and interior designer Claude, as well as James Tufenkian himself. The exterior of the Tufenkian Hotel in Yerevan is made of traditional black and orange tuff. The interior is decorated with an emphasis on the expressive and rich texture of stone, which is in perfect harmony with the Armenian theme. The rooms are furnished with designer furniture made exclusively by Armenian craftsmen.
