The ancient art of carpet weaving in Armenia is cherished and respected by Tufenkian. Through every stage of the weaving process, great care is given to both the environment in which our rugs are crafted and to the artisans who make them. The carpets are created by hand carding, hand spinning, hand knotting and hand dying the finest wool. Through the combination of traditional craft and modern luxury we create highly textured, subtly shaded, exquisite carpets that promote individual style and inspiration. Tufenkian carpets are valuable and precious works of art made to last a lifetime and treasured for generations. “TUFENKIAN TRANS CAUCASUS” Ltd was founded in 1994 and is engaged in the production and selling of handmade rugs and carpets.
