Armenian Tolma Festival

Tolma festival is organized within «Golden Apricot» international film festival. The purpose of the event is to popularize traditional Armenian dishes, to preserve Armenian cuisine, considered as one of the Armenian intangible values, as well as to represent tolma as Armenian dish, refuting false opinion, that this dish has Turkish origins.
In about 30 pavilions Armenian cooks represent about 60 sorts of the dish. Together with traditional ones you can also notice tolma with crayfish, chicken, fish and even sweet types. Cooks compete in the following categories: «Best Taste», «Best Decoration», and «Best Idea». You can combine participation in this feast with sightseeing in Artsakh within “Tour to Artsakh” package.
