Pottery workshop “Terracotta” was founded in 2010 by pottery master Nana Manucharyan. Since that times the pottery have been visited by hundreds of children and grown-ups not only for learning the art of pottery, but also to get positive emotions from making various clay products, working with multi-colored glass, watercolor etc. Working with clay not only has soothing properties, develops motor skills, but is another way to learn the history and peculiarities of art of the country. In particular, during our master class we will make traditional Armenian salt cellars in the shape of a pregnant woman. In ancient times such cellars also had ritual and religious significance, they could be found almost in every home. In few days the cellars – glazed and burnt – will be handed to the makers.
