Weekend trip to Armenia

Meeting at Zvartnots airport and transfer to a 3* hotel in Yerevan. Time for registration and a little rest. 13:00 Departure for the tour. 13:30 Photo stop against the backdrop of Ararat at the Charents Arch. 14:00 Lunch in the village of Garni in a rural house, participation in the baking of Armenian lavash bread. 15:30 Tour to the rock Monastery ofGeghard - a fantastic example of medieval Armenian architecture (XII-XIII centuries), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 17:00 Tour to the pagan temple of Garni - the only monument restored on the territory of Armenia dating back to the era of paganism and Hellenism. 19:00 Return to Yerevan.

Breakfast in the hotel. 09:00 Departure for the tour: first stop is the Khor Virap monastery, which offers one of the most wonderful views of the biblical Mount Ararat. 11:00 tour to Holy Etchmiadzin: The spiritual center of Armenia and the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians - the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The city is located just 20 km from Yerevan. 12:00 Here we will visit the Cathedral built in the 4th century, the treasury museum of Etchmiadzin, where many holy relics are kept, including the Spear of Longinus. 14:00 Lunch at the Agape national cuisine restaurant, which is located on the territory of Holy Echmiadzin in a 17th century building and is one of the ancient restaurants in this region. 15:00 Visit to the ruins of Zvartnots - the greatest temple of early medieval Armenian architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 17:00 Return to Yerevan and visit to the Ararat Brandy Factory for a tour and subsequent tasting of several types of cognac. Free evening in Yerevan.

Architectural complex Cascade, Cafesjian Museum of Contemporary Art, Opera House. 12:00 Tour to Matenadaran: Museum-Institute of Ancient Armenian Manuscripts, one of the largest repositories of manuscripts in the world.13:00  Airport transfer.
