14:00 Meeting at the airport Zvartnots and transfer to the hotel in Yerevan, time for registration and a short rest. 15:30 Tour to Matenadaran: Museum-Institute of Ancient Armenian Manuscripts, one of the largest repositories of manuscripts in the world. 16:30 Sightseeing bus tourof Yerevan with stops at the Monument to David Sasuntsi, in Victory Park at the monument to Mother Armenia , from where you have a wonderful view of the entire city. Architectural complex Cascade, Museum of Contemporary Art Cafesjian, Opera House. 19:00 Welcome dinner with folklore program at the Ararat Tavern. 21:30 Evening walk through the center of Yerevan: walking tour along Northern Avenue to Republic Square. 23:00 Return to the hotel.

Day 2: Yerevan - Charents Arch - Garni - Geghard - Sevan - Yerevan

Breakfast in the hotel. 10:00 Departure for the tour. 10:30 Photo stop against the backdrop of Ararat at the Charents Arch. 11:00 Tour to the rock Geghard Monastery, which was built in the XIII century. The monastery is unique in that part of it is carved into the rocks. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also on the territory of the monastery there are many khachkars (cross stones) that date back to the early medieval period. 12:30 Tour to the pagan Garni Temple - the only monument preserved on the territory of Armenia dating back to the era of paganism and Hellenism. The temple was dedicated to the sun god Migra (Mithra). 14:00 Lunch in the village of Garni in a rural house, participation in the baking of Armenian lavash bread. 15:30 Tour to Lake Sevan, visit to the Sevanavank monastery on the peninsula. 17:30 Return to Yerevan. A few days ago we returned to St. Petersburg. And I can’t believe that just recently we were in unrealistically beautiful Armenia. Snowy mountains, the hot sun in Yerevan, the unforgettable Wings of Tatev, the taste of pomegranate wine, the jokes and humor of our guide Gora, the professionalism of the driver Ashot... All this together gave us emotions for the year ahead. Thanks a lot. Such a compact and eventful journey. It was hard, a lot of steps, a lot of things, but so interesting. We were in Armenia for 3 half days, on March 8, 2020, and during this time, thanks to individual daily excursions in the company of a professional guide Naira and driver Mihran, we received a lot of pleasant impressions and knowledge! I highly recommend everyone to travel with them, to Khor Virap, Noravank - to Garni and Geghard - it was simply amazing! - and be sure to go down to the foot of the “Symphony of Stones” gorge (by car), an incredibly beautiful and amazing place! Thank you very much to the organizers for everything, for the delicious lunches and warm welcome! We will definitely come back to you again!
