Overview

The Erebenu Historical and Archaeological Reserve and Museum in Yerevan offers a unique experience for school-aged children. On the territory of the reserve, in a specially built educational space, children have the opportunity to conduct excavations and find ancient artifacts. Before starting the excavations there will be a tour of the fortress of the Urartian king Argishti – Erebuni and the museum where unique finds are presented. Then, accompanied by a qualified archaeologist, children will learn archeological techniques, receive individual accessories – a bucket, scoop, brush, shovel – and begin the search for the desired artifact.
