Armaghan is a volcanic mountain whose height is 2828 m above sea level. At the top there is a small lake and a small chapel. It offers a unique view of Lake Sevan and the entire Gegharkunik region.
Start of the tour. The group begins the trip from the Argichi plain, crosses the Argichi River across a large bridge and heads to Mount Armaghan. The road passes through alpine meadows and you can see emerald green and colorful flowers everywhere. A living carpet of unique beauty.
First stop and rest for 20 minutes. Then, one by one, taking into account the guests’ horse riding skills, we will climb to the mountain. The road is already on an open path and it will be very easy for riders.
We will find ourselves at the top of Armaghan. It is planned to make a 1-hour stop here so that guests can look around, take photographs, and learn about the history and legends of the area. It is also planned to make a picnic with food taken in advance.
The descent is planned to begin. We return along the same road, but the tour will extend along the tributary of the Argichar River to a place called ''Old Bridges''.
It is planned to make one more stop on the plain, taking into account that the guests will be tired from the long ride on horses. The stop may take 15-20 minutes.
