Overview

This is the best winter tour package for a trip to Armenia. Winter in Armenia is special both due to its unique beauty of snow-capped mountains and forests, the opportunity to spend an active winter holiday in the famous resort town of Tsakhkadzor, and winter dishes, drinks and all the gastronomic diversity that winter Armenia offers. During our tour we will visit the most significant historical and cultural places of the country, walk through winter Yerevan, in authentic guest houses and restaurants we will try dishes that are served exclusively in the “cold” seasons – for example the famous khash, and diversify the cold weather with warm Armenian hospitality and positive emotions that will last a lifetime. Today, more and more guests prefer winter holidays in Armenia with the same enthusiasm as summer holidays – and there is some justification for this.

Armenia is the best destination during coronavirus
Alisa Kirasirova
My mother and I really enjoyed skiing, visiting all the monasteries, tasting all the national dishes; what I ate exceeded all my expectations. Our guide wanted to show us more than what was planned in the program. Every cave, church, landmark - he offered us all. He enjoys what he does and never complains or shows fatigue, always in a good mood, excellent education, charming smile, non-smoker, respects all your wishes. A very positive person. We visited Armenia after the war, in difficult times, but still, the people here are so warm and friendly. It is very comfortable to travel around Armenia during the corona period, because there are practically no tourists. You are alone in nature, without restrictions. Restaurants, monasteries, and ski lifts were opened only for us. The food was amazing. And the prices are really great. Here you pay 15 euros for dinner in a high-end restaurant. The hotel rooms are large, the breakfast is delicious:

We had the most favorable impressions
Tatyana Sergeevna
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the guide Anait, who conducted the tour from January 02 to January 08, 2020. I would like to note her high professionalism, multifaceted knowledge, and friendly attitude towards tourists. During the entire excursion, she patiently and politely communicated with us, noisy, clueless, annoying in our questions, and at the same time did her job competently. We had the most favorable impressions from this excursion, it will be remembered for a long time, we learned a lot of new and very interesting thanks to Anait. Guides like Anahit should be encouraged and protected! I wish you and such guides all the best and success in your noble work.

Dithyramb (tour from January 3-9, 2018)
Natalia Kuzmina
I want to write a lot, because I’m overwhelmed with a lot of impressions, but I’ll try be more specific. I travel often and, as a rule, I create the program myself. It was the one a spontaneous but happy occasion when we “gave ourselves away” into the hands of the tour operator. And we didn’t regret it!!! Everything turned out like in a fairy tale - wonderful people came together with whom it was easy and interesting. Each was an individual, i.e. is very interesting in itself. And the main thing is that we were VERY lucky with the guide, young, but it seemed like he was real a professional in his field. Easy and relaxed, with humor and great proud of his country, he told us about ancient and ancient times, and also about modern problems. We were simply fascinated by him, his emotionality and even passion. I think it really helped us enjoy the trip, the knowledge and new emotions. I can speak for myself, but I’m sure that everyone else would support me, that it’s great The share of a successful trip depends on the guide. Yes, his name is GARNIK MIRZOYAN. I liked Armenia very much, for me this is already the 40th country - friendly and rich history. I think quite a bit of time will pass and we will come back again to see It’s like being with an old friend and seeing something new and amazing. Thank you,

Зима в Армении намного теплее московской...
Spouses Evgeny Pugachev and Natalya Ogneva
...and it’s not only and not so much a matter of geographical location, what warms us first of all is the cordiality, hospitality and goodwill of its inhabitants, the splendor of natural landscapes and, of course, the unique and unforgettable architecture of not only ancient historical monuments, churches, temples and monasteries, but also modern projects (the Yerevan Cascade alone is worth it!). Lately we have visited so many countries, on different continents, and therefore we have something to compare with... We are used to traveling on our own, but this time we joined the group, and not only did not regret the decision, but, taking the opportunity , we would like to express our deep gratitude to the Barev Tour company for the excellent organization of this exciting trip. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, the group was mobile and valued time, our guide, Lilith, is a true professional in his field, just like the driver Arkady, and his brother Ashot, who replaced him one day. We received great pleasure from the gastronomic program of the tour and from visiting the bins of the Ararat factory... Of course, it is impossible to travel around the whole of Armenia in 5-6 days, but we did not have such a task. We know for sure that we will definitely return here, so when we parted we didn’t say mnas barov (farewell) to Armenia, but only minch nor handipum (until we meet again) and we will wait until we can again say Barev dzez, Armenia, and who will be the guide on our next trip, it’s not hard to guess - Barev Armenia tour company and no one else!

замечательный отдых, гостеприимная страна, надежная турфирма
Yulia Shchemeleva
The impressions of the recent winter holiday in Armenia have settled down and I hasten to leave my enthusiastic review. It was my second time in Armenia and I fell in love with it for the second time. And the perfectly organized tour greatly contributed to this. In order - transfer without any complaints in both directions. On time, good cars, polite drivers. The 14th floor hotel became our temporary warm home. The girls at the reception are simply wonderful. Not a single request or comment was left unattended. Always with a smile. Without any additional payments, simply at our request, we were moved from a standard double to a huge two-room family room. On Christmas Day, a festive dinner was arranged for all hotel guests. The tour itself is very rich and thoughtful, trying to cover all the richness of the cultural and religious life of Armenia. A huge hello to our wonderful guide Lilith and driver Arkady. There was a moment that one day the travel agency did not fully fulfill the conditions of the tour - dinner turned out to be without a folklore program. So the next evening the whole group was once again given free dinner in a restaurant with a program. Very revealing. In general, all the lunches and dinners of the tour were in wonderful, colorful, expensive places. Each one was remembered for something special. The travel agency does not skimp on food. Only the weather let us down a little. It’s cold for Yerevan (but regular tastings and Armenian cognac did their job), there is constant haze and snowy fog in the city itself. But in the mountains we enjoyed the warm spring sun To summarize, this was one of the most wonderful trips of my life, I already miss Armenia, its warmth, hospitality, its ancient monasteries, the pink tuff of Yerevan. Tickets for August have already been purchased, I’m looking into the tour. I am sure that this will be the Barev Armenia tour again
