Winter in Armenia is much warmer than Moscow ...
...and it is not all about the geographical location. It is firstly the warm welcome, hospitality and good will of the people, natural landscapes and, of course, unique architecture not only of the ancient historical monuments, churches, temples and monasteries, but modern buildings, too ( we have to mention The Cascade in Yerevan here !). We have traveled in many countries on different continents recently, and we have what to compare to...We are used to travelling independently, but we decided to join a group this time, and we not only never regretted about that decision, but also would like to use this opportunity to express our sincere gratefulness to the company Barev tour for organizing such interesting trips. Everything was planned to the detail, the group was mobile, and made proper use of the time, and our tour guide Lilit was a real master of her job, as well as our driver Arkadiy and his brother Ashot who had to substitute him for a day. We really enjoyed both the gastronomical aspect of the program, and visiting the bin bunkers of Ararat factory...Of course, one cannot tour all around Armenia in 5-6 days, but we actually did not even intend to. We definitely know that we will come back there again, that is why we did not say “Mnas barov” to Armenia (Goodbye), but only “Minch nor handipum” (See you again) and we will be looking forward to saying again “Barev dzez” Armenia. And it is not difficult to guess who will be our guide during our next visit – only company Barev Tour and none else!

Wonderful holiday, hospitable country, reliable travel agency
Just settled back from the memories of our recent winter vacation in Armenia, I am very eager to share my impressions with you. It was my second visit to the country, and I fell in love with Armenia for the second time, and here we have to give credits to the perfectly arranged tour. Now let me put everything in order. First, the round transfers were with no delays and problems, plus polite drivers and good cars. The 14th floor hotel was our temporary warm home during our stay in Armenia. The girls at the front desk were just miraculous- they always addressed our requests and remarks quickly, and wore shiny smiles on their faces all the time. They willingly changed our standard double room for a spacious family suit with no extra payments. All the guests at the hotel were invited to share a special Christmas dinner. The tour itself was very well planned, aimed to grasp the richness of cultural and religious lives of Armenia. A big hello to our amazing guide Lilit and driver Arkadiy! There was a case when one evening the tour company’s prior arrangements were not followed completely, and we had a supper with no folk program. So the following evening the entire group was treated to a nice supper in a restaurant with a program. This tells a lot. Overall, it is worth mentioning that all the dinners and suppers throughout the tour were in authentic and expensive locations. Each of them was memorized for something special. The tour agency does not save on meals. We were just slightly taken aback by the weather – a little cold for Yerevan (though I have to admit that regular degustation and Armenian cognac did help a lot), a consistent smog and haze in the city. Contrary to this, we could embrace the absolutely spring sun in the mountains. In summary, this was one of the most fascinating trips in my life, and I already miss Armenia, its warmth, hospitality, ancient monasteries, and pink tufa stone of Yerevan. We have already purchased our August tickets and we are planning our next tour now. Undoubtedly, we will again turn to Barev Armenia.
