Day 1

Airport – Tbilisi city tour

Arrival at Tbilisi airport. Meeting and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rest. City Tour: Sioni Cathedral; Metekhi Monastery, built on rocky coast of the Kura River in 12th century. Lunch. A marvelous view of Old Tbilisi is opening from the monastery. Narikala Fortress, Old Tbilisi and sulfur baths, which, according to the legend, were found by Iberian king Vakhtang Gorgasali during hunting. Welcome dinner with national music and dances. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Day 2

Tbilisi – Jvari- Mtskheta – Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi

Breakfast in the hotel. Departure for tour. Jvari temple, which is fascinating for the fact that, after adoption of Christianity in Georgia st.Nino erected the first cross on this exact spot. A wonderful landscape is opening from the temple: Mtskheta city, The Kura River gorge as well as Aragvi Valley are very well seen. Mtskheta city is the first capital of Georgia. The main three sites in this city are Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Samtavro Temple, Bebris Tsikhe Fortress. Uplistsikhe Cave town, which was founded in 1000 BC and was a sacred temple spot during Pre-Christian period. Return to Tbilisi.
Day 3

Tbilisi - Mirzaani - Kakheti – Bodbe - Signaghi

Departure from Tbilisi. House-Museum of Niko Pirosmani in Mirzaani village. Tour to Kakheti, the center of wine-making in Georgia. Wine tasting in popular Pheasant's Tears winery. Bodbe monastery of St.Nino (Ninotsminda) is located in cypress grove, only a few kilometers of Signaghi. Here St. Nino, who brought Christianity to Georgia, is buried. Lunch near Bodbe monastery. City tour in Signaghi which is considered to be the City of Love. Dinner and overnight in Signaghi.
Day 4

Signaghi - Gremi - Tsinandali - Telavi - Ikalto - Alaverdi – Tbilisi

Departure from Signaghi. Gremi royal castle and fortress. Gremi city was the capital of the Kingdom of Kakheti in 16-17 cc. The capital, founded by Levan of Kakheti, was the royal residence and a bustling commercial city of the Great Silk Road. Tour to Tsinandali, Alexander Chavchavadze House-Museum. Lunch in Telavi. Palace-Museum of Georgian king Heraclius II. Visit to Ikalto, the oldest monastery and academy, where, according to the legend, Shota Rustaveli, a prominent Georgian poet of the 12th century, studied. Visit to Alaverdi cathedral and monastic complex, founded in 11th century. Return to Tbilisi and check-in at the hotel.
Day 5

Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbeki – Holy Trinity church - Tbilisi

Visit to Ananuri, which is a castle complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia. Gudauri is a resort located on the southern slopes of The Greater Caucasus Mountain Range. Tour to Kazbeki, which is a dormant stratovolcano and one of the major mountains of the Caucasus. Lunch. Gergeti Trinity Church which is situated at an elevation of 2170 meters, under Mount Kazbegi. Return to Tbilisi.
Day 6

Tbilisi – Bagratashen – Akhtala - Haghpat

Visit to Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba), the main cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church. Tour to the ethnographic museum under the open sky, a Georgian village unique of its kind, where every house and estate is the reflection of Georgian history of different periods. Purchase of Georgian products upon request: souvenirs, wine, chacha, churchkhela and so on. Crossing of Armenian-Georgian border at Bagratashen checkpoint. Akhtala monastery and fortress of the 10th century, harmoniously combining specific elements of Armenian, Georgian and Byzantine architecture. Overnight in Haghpat.
Day 7

Haghpat – Sanahin - Odzoun – Haghartsin - Dilijan - Tsaghkunk

Departure for tour. Visit the early medieval monastic complexes Haghpat and Sanahin, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Odzun, an early medieval Armenian structure (4-7 centuries), which has exclusive significance for the history of ecclesiastical architecture of Armenia. From the region Tavush trip to Lori region: Fioletovo village: community of russian Molokans. Тrip to the resort town of Dilijan, considered to be the symbol of Armenian-Georgian friendship. Old Dilijan Complex. Visit to Haghartsin Monastery (10th century), surrounded by dense forests. Lunch. Dinner and overnight in the guest house Tsaghkunk.
Day 7

Tsaghkunk - Lake Sevan – Sevanavank - Yerevan

Breakfast in guest house. Horse riding in the surrounding hills (by order). Tour to Lake Sevan - the largest lake in the Caucasus. In the north-west coast we visit the monastery Sevanavank. Lunch at the lakeside restaurant. Arrival to Yerevan. Welcome dinner at the restaurant, including folk program with songs and dances.
Day 9

Yerevan city tour

Guided bus tour of the morning Yerevan: History museum of Armenia. Visit to Tsitsernakaberd: The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and the monument, memorializing the victims of Armenian genocide. Lunch in the restaurant. Cascade architectural complex. Rest. Evening walk from the Northern Avenue to Republic Square. Participation in Dancing fountains show.
Day 10

Yerevan – Khor Virap – Areni – Noravank – Jermuk

Check out with the luggage. Khor Virap Monastery, where one of the most marvelous views of Mount Ararat is opening from. Then we are heading for the South of Armenia, to Noravank Monastery, unique for its architectural solutions. The road to the monastery stretches along the wonderful canyon Noravank, which is rich in caves, rare flora and fauna.Not far away is the Birds Cave, where the oldest leather shoe and winery were found. Up today excavations are held in the Birds Cave, but it is also possible to get there and see the discovered layers. Lunch at the local restaurant. Local wine tasting. Jermuk resort city where Jermuk waterfall and a gallery of mineral waters are situated. Accommodation in Jermuk.
Day 11

Jermuk – Karahunj - Tatev – Khndzoresk – Yerevan

Departure for tour. Karahunj – Zorats Qarer, is a prehistoric archaeological site of VI millennium BC, which is often called as the “Armenian Stonehenge”. Khndzoresk – old cave settlement. Arrival in the medieval monastery complex Tatev on the longest cable car in the world. Tatev Monastery, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, was one of the most important spiritual and educational centers of medieval Armenia. Lunch in the guest house. Arrival and accommodation in Yerevan.
Day 12

Yerevan – Geghard – Garni – Garni canyon – Yerevan

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for tour. Photo-stop near Charents arch against the backdrop of Mount Ararat. Tour to Geghard medieval monastery – a fantastic example of medieval Armenian architecture of XII century. It is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at village house in Garni, participation in baking Armenian bread lavash. Live performance of Armenian national instrument duduk (by order). Tour to pagan temple Garni – the only preserved monument, referring to the era of paganism and Hellenism. A short walking tour to Garni gorge – to the natural wonder "Symphony of the Stones". Return to Yerevan. Free evening.
Day 13

Yerevan – Echmiadzin – Zvartnots – Ararat brandy factory - Yerevan

History Museum of Armenia in the Republic Square. Tour to Echmiadzin the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the residence of the Catholicos of all Armenians. Echmiadzin treasury, where the lance that pierced the side of Christ by the Roman soldier is also exposed. We will visit Zvartnots Cathedral, which is considered as a masterpiece of early medieval Armenian architecture, and listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch at apricot orchard of “Van” restaurant in the open air. Return to Yerevan, where we’ll visit Ararat brandy factory and taste few brands of Armenian brandy (cognac). Free evening in Yerevan.
Day 14

Yerevan – Amberd - Airport

Breakfast at the hotel. Time for shopping. You can choose from a big variety of souvenirs and local products, which are in high demand among our guests – wines, brandies, dried fruits, sweets, herbs, jewelry, etc. For this purpose we will visit the souvenir market Vernissage and Tashir – the market of local sweets and dried fruits. Afterwards we will go on tour to Amberd Fortress – the historical security complex, which consists of the castle of VII century and the church of XI century. It's one of the fewest preserved fortresses on the territory of Armenia. Lunch in Ashtarak region. Arrival in Yerevan. Transfer to the airport.
