Booking conditions
Here are the booking rules and terms for our tourist services. Please review the key points before making a reservation.
Submission of a reservation request
- You can request a reservation for tourist services from Barev Armenia tour operator by: a) filling out the appropriate booking form on the website, where it is mandatory to complete all fields marked with an asterisk (*); b) sending an email in a free-form to the email address [email protected]; c) using one of the phone numbers provided on the website to make a reservation directly with an operator.
- Please note that we guarantee the confidentiality of the personal information you provide; it will be used solely for the purpose of processing your reservation and delivering the respective service.
- The service provided by Barev Armenia for booking is free of charge, and apart from the prices listed on the website, there are no other hidden or undisclosed fees or charges. Furthermore, the tour operator often offers discounts and/or additional complimentary services.
- To submit individual requests for 6 or more people, special conditions apply, which are documented for each specific case.
Booking Confirmation
- After submitting your application through the website form, email, or by phone, a tour manager will contact you within 24 hours at the latest. The response time may vary depending on office workload. Typically, for hotel and tour reservations with guaranteed departures, this process can take 1-3 hours.
- In order to avoid the need for additional clarification of the data, it is recommended that when completing the application, you submit all the additional requirements required by the booking form and the additional requirements you submit, which will facilitate the selection of the services of interest and correct pricing.Please pay special attention to providing accurate contact information.
- In case of insufficient or inaccurate information in your application, a tour manager will contact you by phone or through email. For outgoing calls made by our company, all expenses will be covered by the company.
- When you submit your application, an automatic notification is sent to your email confirming that your application has been received. This is not a response from a tour manager, but an automated message displaying all the information you provided. If you notice any errors or inaccuracies at this stage, you can reply to the received email with the corrected details.
- At every stage of service provision, only one tour manager from Barev Armenia company works with each individual client. The emails and calls sent by our staff are personalized.Please note that your request will be guaranteed only after confirmation in writing by Barev Armenia company, through email.
- Confirmation of booking tourist services includes information describing the services you have ordered, their cost, and payment terms. Typically, in the final confirmation letter, you will receive the confirmation letter itself, an invoice for the advance payment, a contract, and, in some cases, a voucher, a detailed tour program, contact details for the service staff and places to visit, maps, itinerary, and so on.
Payment for ordered services
- Payment conditions vary for each individual reservation.
- The payment terms are generally as follows: a) full payment for the service during the visit to Armenia—at the beginning, middle, or end of the service provision; b) advance payment before the commencement of the service, with the remaining amount settled upon arrival in the country; c) full payment of 100% of the service cost prior to the provision of the service.
- For guests arriving in Armenia from abroad, it is often more convenient to make payments in their home country’s currency. In this case, the company can issue invoices in euros, US dollars, or Russian rubles. When transferring money from abroad, prepayment can be made in the respective currency. Upon arrival in Armenia, the currency specified in the invoice is exchanged at the current exchange rate on the day of payment and settled in the national currency of Armenia—drams.
- At the moment, the company does not accept card payments. Payment is only accepted via bank transfer to the company’s account.
- In the case of ordering specific services, such as hotel room reservations, restaurant bookings, transportation, and property rentals, the customer makes the payment directly to the company providing the services—whether it’s the hotel, restaurant, car rental agency—based on the invoice presented by the respective company or on-site upon arrival in the country.
Cancellation of ordered services
- To cancel previously booked and confirmed reservations, you need to send a letter with the corresponding request to the email of the tour manager serving you. In case you don’t receive written confirmation of the cancellation, please contact us by phone․
- The cancellation of reserved services also involves an individualized approach, which is pre-determined by the tour manager in the booking confirmation.
- The penalties and fees applied during cancellation depend on the remaining time until the start of service, the tourist season, or specific peak days associated with holidays, the cancellation policies of the service-providing company, the scope of services, and the resources invested in preparatory work.
- We recommend reviewing the cancellation terms in advance. In case of objections or disagreements, discuss and make amendments to the service terms to anticipate potential financial losses in the future.
