Armaghan is a volcanic mountain with elevation of 2828m above sea level. It has a beautiful small lake and a small chapel on the top. A unique view of the Lake Sevan and the whole Gegharkunik region opens from here.

Tour programm

Departure from Yerevan to the city of Martuni.
Guests welcome in Martuni city and tour to plateau Argitchi. Acquaintance with horses. Basic practical horse riding lesson and testing of guests skills.
Tour start. The group starts the trip with Argitchi plateau; then crosses the river Argitchi on a big bridge and head for Mount Armaghan. The road passes through alpine meadows, and you can see the emerald green color and colorful flowers everywhere. Living carpet of unique beauty.
First stop and 20 minutes rest. Then, horse riding up to the mountain, taking into consideration guests' skills. The road is held by the open way and it will be easier for the riders.
We will be on the top Armaghan. It is planned to make a 1 hour stop for guests to look around, take pictures, learn about the history and legends of the area. It is also planned to have a picnic with the meal taken in advance.
Planned to begin descent. We will return by the same route, but the tour will extend along inflow of the river Argitchar to a place called '' Old Bridge ''
Scheduled to make one more stop on the plateau, taking into consideration the fact that the guests will be tired from the long ride on horses. Stop can last for 15-20 minutes.
Access to a place called Tsaghkashen where we will leave horses. The car will be waiting for us to take to Yerevan.
