On the North-East of Sevan, between mountain chains of Miapor and Areguni there is this cozy corner of Getik Valley, through which runs the river of the same name. Like in many other places in Armenia, in Getik Valley anyone can also find numerous sightseeings, which have their own unique charm and curiosity. But the most exciting is the nature itself with its forests, rivers and springs, valleys and mountains. By the efforts of few villagers, Getik had become one of the developing centers of rural tourism in Armenia. It's one of the few places in Armenia, where anyone can get engaged in preparing traditional Armenian dishes with local villagers, learn traditional crafts, go to hiking and horse-riding, fishing, or to take part in the ritual ceremonies. Our program also offers one night stand at guest-house of Getik, but if required – it can be prolonged.
